IBM taps skills in Naga City with new global center

Last May 20, 2013, IBM announced that the company will continue to expand its operations in the Philippines this year and has identified Naga City in the Bicol region as its next growth location. IBM’s business process outsourcing unit, Global Process Services (GPS), will set up a facility in Naga City that will help expand the company’s capabilities in delivering business process solutions to varied industry clients across the globe. The facility will support the development of local talent and give a boost to the innovation ecosystem in the Bicol region and neighboring provinces.
