In addition to the detailed personal feedback, <strong>IBM<\/strong> also utilized financial metrics, detailed statistical and textual analysis into the study.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011-ibm-cio-study-giuseppe-bruni.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2919\" title=\"2011-ibm-cio-study-giuseppe-bruni\" src=\"http:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011-ibm-cio-study-giuseppe-bruni-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"2011-ibm-cio-study-giuseppe-bruni\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" border=\"0\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011-ibm-cio-study-giuseppe-bruni-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011-ibm-cio-study-giuseppe-bruni.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mr. Bruni<\/strong> keynoted three upshot of the <a title=\"2011 IBM CIO Study \u2013 Philippine Media Round Table\" href=\"http:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/news-and-events\/2011-ibm-cio-study-philippine-media-round-table\/\">CIO study<\/a>;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The<strong> Chief Information Officer<\/strong> roles has become fundamental in corporate businesses.<\/li>\n<li><strong>CEO\u2019s and CIO\u2019s<\/strong> thinking are very closely aligned.<\/li>\n<li>CIO\u2019s need to identify and communicate their <strong>MANDATES<\/strong> to be successful in their roles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>CIO Mandates<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011-ibm-cio-study-main-speaker.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2913\" title=\"2011-ibm-cio-study-main-speakers\" src=\"http:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011-ibm-cio-study-main-speaker-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"2011-ibm-cio-study-main-speakers\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" border=\"0\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011-ibm-cio-study-main-speaker-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011-ibm-cio-study-main-speaker.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he added that <em>CIO mandates<\/em> comes with distinct characteristics that line-up with the organization \u2018s goal and strategy. The mandates are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Expand Mandate<\/strong> \u2013 which focuses on refining business processes and enhance collaboration.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leverage Mandate<\/strong> \u2013 focuses on streamlining operations and increase organizational effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transform Mandate<\/strong> \u2013 change the industry value chain through improved relationships<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pioneer Mandate<\/strong> \u2013 radically innovate products, markets, and business model.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He also added their study also shows that 60% of the <strong>ASEAN CIOs<\/strong> focuses expand and leverage mandate.
