The Step by Step Guide To Resolve the Arras Theme Problem<\/h2>\n

Since the released of the WordPress 3.2<\/strong> I’ve been trying to resolve widget.php error<\/strong> on my two website the RizalPark.Org <\/a>and TheLunchBreakBlogger.com<\/a> whenever I click the WordPress 3.2 Update Now<\/strong> link. I’m using Arras Theme 1.5.01 on both sites and I always have an Widget.php<\/strong> error when ever I update my wordpress.<\/p>\n

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Arras_Widget_Tag_Cloud::WP_Widget_Tag_Cloud() in \/home\/username\/public_html\/wp-content\/themes\/arras\/library\/widgets.php on line 404<\/a><\/h3>\n

How did I resolved the problem? Thanks to Karen Woodham <\/strong>of\u00a0 slappybear.co.uk <\/a>a fellow P50 Member <\/strong>and also an Arras Theme<\/strong> user.\u00a0 Below were the steps I did but make sure to backup everything first:<\/p>\n

7 Step to Resolve the Arras Theme – Word Press 3.2 update Problem<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. First, I backup my Word Press\u00a0 files and database<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2. Download the Arras Theme<\/strong> at: http:\/\/arras-theme.googlecode.com\/files\/arras.1.5.1.zip<\/a><\/p>\n

3. Using an FTP Client, <\/strong>\u00a0I login to my server \u00a0and rename the arras folder at:<\/p>\n

\/public_html\/wp-content\/themes\/<\/h3>\n

from “arras” to\u00a0 “arras1”<\/p>\n

\"arras01\"<\/a><\/p>\n

If you don’t have a FTP Client<\/strong> you can download FireFTP<\/a> from firefox plugin or you can rename it using the CPanel File Manager (if you have a cpanel access).<\/p>\n

4. \u00a0Once you have renamed the arras folder your theme will be changed to the Word Press default theme. Go to the Appearance<\/strong> > Themes<\/strong>, then click Install Themes<\/strong> Tab.<\/p>\n

5. \u00a0Click the Upload<\/strong>, click the “Choose File” button<\/strong> and locate where you downloaded arras.1.5.1.zip<\/strong> file.<\/p>\n

6. Click the Open button<\/strong> of the dialog box then click the “Install Now” button<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7. Then after the installation click activate <\/strong>then your good to go.<\/p>\n
