Top executives from IBM Software shared insight on how Social Media made an impact to the Philippines industries. He defines <a title=\"Social Business: The 5th Era of Information Technology\" href=\"http:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/news-and-events\/social-business-the-5th-era-of-information-technology\/\">Social Business,<\/a> as an integration of business solution to social media, that will enables companies build better customer relationship, brings speed and breakthrough thinking to companies operations and optimizing workforce by enabling easy contextual collaboration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They also presented some case from prominent companies such as AVIS Europe, Dept. of Taxation and Finance of New York State, and SE Asian Gov\u2019t Agency on how gaining insight will enables optimization to these organizations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/IBM_Lotus08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2025\" title=\"IBM_LotusNotes\" src=\"http:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/IBM_Lotus08-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"IBM_LotusNotes\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" border=\"0\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/IBM_Lotus08-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.qlickcafe.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/IBM_Lotus08.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Social Media is not Just a Marketing Tool<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Afterwards, before the lunch break session, Mr. Christopher Blake \u2013 ASEAN Collaboration Executive on IBM Collaboration Solution talk about the advantages of social media in a corporate enterprise. He cited that Social Media provides an opportunity to reach people on a whole new level to include:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Customer Service<br \/>\n&#8211; Public Relation<br \/>\n&#8211; Employee Engagement<br \/>\n&#8211; Loyalty-building<br \/>\n&#8211; Collaboration\/ Knowledge Management<br \/>\n&#8211; Networking<br \/>\n&#8211; Thought \u2013Leadership<br \/>\n&#8211; Customer\/Employee Acquisition<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He noted that\u2026 for the enterprises, the best way to quickly gain social media credibility is Customer Care.
