Twitter Retweet Button (Beta)

“Twitter Retweet Button – Whooooot!″

When I opened my twitter account today I’ve received a massage on my dashboard.

“Hi there, you’re part of a beta group receiving this feature, which means you may start seeing retweets in a new way. People who don’t have this yet will see your retweets prefaced by “RT”.”

retweet

Oh boy, I’ve been waiting for this feature since I started tweeting. Finally I can retweet my friends tweet with just a click of the handy retweet button. Whoooooooot! No more copy and pasting. Another features that I have notice is the tweet notification features. Like your mail inbox it also alerts you with unread tweets. Great isn’t?

Although I’m using TweetDeck on my tweeting but I find the twitter page more convenient now and less resource consumption for my PC.
I hope the full feature version will be out soon! Congratulations Twitter Peeps!

    • I was about to make a comment on your post Jan, then I found something new with my twitter page and strike me to make this post. I’m a bit running out of time from my lunch break, that’s why I just included your link to your post. Anyways, Is it a good idea… if ever a P50 members have related post we could exchange links like this one. I made it sure that you will appear on my screenshot so that you’ll comment on this post. (Tactics -I’m taking notes, remember?) Lols. You’re cool Jan! Thanks.

      • Thanks, Jhong. One thing great about having a group of close friends is we
watch out for each others interests not only in promoting your friend’s post
in the social media. Finding a way to promote your friends in your blog is
the other side of it. In a sense, we’re saying to our own set of followers.
hey this guy is good. And because we’re not spammers, big brother will look
        kindly on such practice.

Heather, I’m afraid will not. Her picture/tweet got cut off in your screen
shot. Uh oh, the Bat Lady will not be pleased. But there’s always a next
time, right? Ahahaha. Keep rockin’, Jhong.

  5. Yeah. I saw this welcome part too and although I have not given it a test drive yet, it looks that it will be cool. This combined with my Twitter list and I’m good to go.

  7. Cool new feature huh? I also like it, but I am now liking hootsuite better. Okay, I know a bit off topic, but I will not be using tweetdeck anymore, unless another better third party app arrives. Maybe a qlickcafe version might come out and hit the top ten most used third party apps around the world, who knows, right?
