Hi Ari, If you can login in to you CPanel you might be able to reset it from there. I'll make a post regarding this when I'm home. If you can wait for 6 more hours I'll make a step by step instruction regarding ftp configuration and how to reset password on your cpanel.

Forgive me for the novice questions but I'm fairly new at FTP in general. I'm having trouble logging into my ftp and I'm not really sure why. Now the help-desk people for my server have confirmed what my host/server is and also what port to use. They told me to jot in my username and password and it should work. However it hasn't – so I'm wondering, is my username for ftp different from my username for CPanel?

Apologies yet again, I know this is a really novice thing to ask but as I mentioned before, I'm just starting out.
