Friendster Email Verification Guide Simplified

How to guide – to verify your friendster account.

If you haven’t open your friendster account since September 2009, you might haven’t read the below notice:

“Please Note: As of September 24, 2009 all Friendster members are required to Verify their Email Address. Follow the instructions below.”

A lot of my friedster’s users in my internet cafe are having problem with verifying there email address. They’re having problem accessing with their account because last September 28, 2009 Friendster have tighten up their security by cleaning-up unverified emails, that is why this is happening.

Why Do I Need To Verify My Email Address?

As per friendster, you need verify your email address to:
- Receive network activity from friends
- Send messages to friends
- Post a comment or bulletin
- Create and manage your Blog

This mean you won’t be able to update your profile or even post a comment using you account. But to view your account, you can just simply search for it without logging-in.

amm my friendster verification is not sent in my yahoo mail help me please
  • Hi mayangelle,

Have you check the email that you've used? If you look at the third image on this post the highlighted email should be the email that you're verifying. The email should be available in a few moments if you followed the procedure correctly.

If you still have trouble, you can send me screenshots like what i did above and email it to me at jhongmed[@]qlickcafe[.]com.

    Good Luck!

I am still receiving updates from friendster, but I haven't logged in for a while, lets say it has been months since I last saw my friendster account. LOL.

Thanks for the helpful "how to" Jhong! You're the man!

  • Finally Doc Z you're back! Thanks for commenting Bro!
  • Seriously now - is Friendster still alive? How come?! All along I thought Facebook has it all bloodied up and dying in an alley somewhere. Hey, Friendster fans, I'm just pulling your legs. LOL.

I have friends who sign in every now and then with Friendster to check messages, then sign out, and they sign in on Facebook. How time flies. It's only a few years ago when Friendster had it so good. Well that was then and this is now.

hehe di ko pa rin iiwan ang friendster kasi andoon pa rin ang aking napakaraming relatives. most of my relatives in fb are from USA. so panglocal connections ko ang fs. pang-international naman ang fb. lol.
  • I thought Dec 4 pa balik nyo po. Anyways, I find you very funny Fr. Fiel. Feeling ko your good with your sermons. Thanks for commenting.

at one time, friendster was already at its best....ung time na sumikat ang isang blogger nilang si carlo ang. the best un sa akin because blogs updates can be seen at the left sidebar. but it did not stay long. kaya i stopped blogging using friendster, and it was a good decision. bwahahahaha.
  • Good for you Fr. Fiel. Now I'm only using Friendster and Facebook for announcing new post, and... socializing online with relatives and friends.

yes, thank you sa technology. may blog ako about our clan. mayroon din akong yahoo group, friendster group at facebook group -- all about genealogy! and it is very enriching na makahanap ng mga kamag-anak. hehe.
  • Ugh. My notoriety as FARMVILLE farmer precedes me. Yay! Ahehehe. Sssh...
  • Direct hit ba Jan? Hahahaha
  • Yeap. I asked myself the same question Jan. When I reopen my computer shop; I've notice a lot of my customer are still using Friendster.

BTW, I've heard you've been doing some farming chores too much, Jan. ROFL!

    i have verified mine already...

our neighbor asked me to verify her account, she gave me her email and password. lol.
  • That's great Fr. Fiel, even here in my computer shop some of my customer they just give their username and password, and let me do the verification. That's one reason I made this guideline. Lols!
  • fielsvd
....but i noticed more people are now addicted to facebook than friendster...
  • I guess Jan can explain it to you Fr. Fiel. Lols!
  • I haven't experienced such verification process Jhong. Maybe because I am a regular (Saturdays) Friendster user?
  • That's one thing Madz, and may be you have a valid email, almost all of my friendster user's here are using fake email.
  • I see. I remember my cousin used a bogus email just to have a friendster account. Nice post Jhong!
